Aldrin Cuadra’s Across Islands
MDPPA’s Photography Contest 2019 with the theme “Let’s explore and enjoy our wonderful world!” has been successfully concluded with the selection of the winning entries from 133 photo entries on August 23, 2019. Taking the top prize was Aldrin Cuadra’s “Across Islands” featuring a rider toeing his motorcycle across a narrow makeshift bamboo bridge to a boat for a short sail across other islands in Palawan, Philippines. This photo also garnered second place at the Federation of Asian Motorcycle Industries (FAMI) photo contest in Bali, Indonesia on September 4, 2019.
Second place went to Bernie dela Cruz’s “Mountains;” and third place to Pedrito Ensomo’s “On A Camping Tour With Motorcycles.” Consolation prizes were awarded to Christopher Andres’s “Adventure;” Bernie dela Cruz’s “Rides in Apayao Roads;” and Klienne Eco’s “Enjoy the Ride.”

Aside from the MDPPA prize of P25,000, Mr. Cuadra also went home with FAMI Photo Contest second prize of SG$3,000.
Awarding of prizes was conducted on September 16, 2019 at the MDPPA Office.
